– The Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (established in 1995)
is promoted by Malvika Foundation, a charitable trust of Group Usha, a 30 billion Indian
Conglomerate. Eastern IILM is the result of the underlying concept of integrated learning.
The institute has been planned, developed and well equipped to provide management
education of the highest quality for future business leaders.
Principle of Integrated Learning
At Eastern IILM, the integration in learning is achieved at three levels. The
first order of integration is to seek a better blend in functional areas of management.
The second, is to bridge the gap between the academics and the business world. And finally
to be equipped with management education to face socio-economic challenges in India and
abroad.
The Institute
– Eastern IILM is armoured with a group of highly qualified full time and visiting
faculty and competent staff. Eastern IILM is equipped with modern teaching aids and has a
well organised computer centre with state-of-the-art computers with the latest client
server technology and software packages. The library, with its excellent facilities for
reference and research, has a vast collection of books, magazines and journals on all
functional areas. It has a rich collection of educational films and other academic
materials. All these offer a congenial environment for business studies. The library has
an Internet access for use by students.
